The Crowned Heads Four Kicks Robusto

Cigar Review – @TheCrownedHeads Four Kicks Robusto

The original Crowned Heads release that set the stage for everything the Jon Huber has graced us with since, Four Kicks continues to be a great cigar worth keeping in the humi. I stopped by @BriarShoppeCigars and picked up a few.

A Habano Ecuador wrapper contains the Nicaraguan binder and filler, giving the cigar a very rustic appearance. The wrapper is a colorado claro in color, and topped with a triple cap and displays few veins. Clipping the cap releases subtle floral notes and aromas of barnyard, cocoa, spice, and earth.

Lighting produces an amazing volume of smoke – this thing is a white cloud generator. The burn line and draw remained perfect throughout. Tastes of cedar, leather and pepper mix and mingle with notes of wood and earth, all carried on a wave of creaminess with a tinge of sweetness.

Overall, a really good cigar. A cigar that is satisfyingly complex, with some delectable flavors and notes that are both well balanced and expertly constructed – it does the job exceptionally well. I rate it at 90.
